Jintana means “imagination” in Sanskrit —one of the world’s most ancient and spiritual languages— and was the name given to me by an old Thai monk when I was born. Since early childhood I have been in love with gemstones.

My birthplace of Thailand is unique. Jewels from all over the world have made their way to this beautiful and exotic country over the centuries, and because of this, a unique and vibrant center of international jewelry trade has flourished.
It was in this environment that I developed my love for jewelry and the inspiration to begin making my own pieces. Although I use materials from all over the world, most of my gems and stones still come from Thailand.
I have also always been able to use my imagination and inspiration to design beautiful jewelry. Creating jewelry is a kind of meditation for me and I make each piece with love and with a heart full of joy. When I am creating, I hold the wish that my creations will bring joy to the person who wears them as well as to those who see them.
On my trips back home I buy from the local gem merchants and do what I can to support the local small businesses there. I am also very happy to be able to get some of my silver from the Thai Hill Tribe, one of the most famous creators of silver in Thailand and world renowned for their designs and craftsmanship. They work from the finest materials and are somehow able to produce unique designs. I have visited the Thai Hill Tribe several times and have a personal affection for their silver and am happy to be able to use it in my jewelry.
Because I travel to Thailand and purchase the gems, stones, and silver directly from my own sources, I can obtain the highest quality materials at prices far below the costs of buying them here. This is why I can provide high quality and unique jewelry at affordable prices, creating a great value for those drawn to my work.
I believe that to be happy and fulfilled in life, we have to do what we love and follow our heart. As a jewelry maker, I continue to explore my art through the use of color, shape, and texture to create inspiring pieces of jewelry. I hope that you will come along with me on my journey and share in my passion for creating beautiful and inspiring pieces of jewelry.
